Log Farm Ready For Long Weekend

If you are wondering what to do for the long weekend during what has more or less been our 18-month staycation, why not head north on Cedarview Road and check out the Barrhaven Farmers’ Market and other activities at the Log Farm.

Saturday is Farmers’ Market Day with more than 30 different vendors offering everything from different meats for your BBQ to lots of fresh local veggies, along with all kinds of baking and fresh homemade meals ready to cook and enjoy.  Looking for something different, how about some fresh salsa and homemade chips or maybe some cotton candy.  Saturday 9 – 2 lots of free parking and no admission to visit the market.   We are very excited to announce this weekend live music will return for the first time since 2019!

Open Sunday and Holiday Monday

Prebooked tickets are required, see website for detail www.thelogfarm.com   There will be three session on Sunday 9 – 12; 1-4 and the special evening session 5-9.  Monday we will offer two sessions 9-12 and 1-4.  So lots of times to visit.

The entire experience is outside, and we limit the number of guests in during each three-hour session so that our guests can spread out and enjoy their time at the farm!

Lots of animals to see, feed and touch. Hay play structures to climb and explore. The kids barn has some imaginary play areas and the famous corn sensory table. Take walk in the woods and slow down while you explore and play down on the farm.

The Log farm is part of Ottawa’s history, the farm was built in 1857. You can walk through the original home of the Bradley’s and take in how they lived right here over 160 years ago!
